The DC8 is characterized by the minimal play in the lever bearing. This results in a direct and unadulterated transfer of hand force to the clutch. No annoying wobble of the lever. Thanks to this and the ergonomically optimal design, the lever fits perfectly in the hand at all times. The use of high-quality materials, very precise machining, and high-quality surface treatment elevate ARC handlebars to a level of quality previously unmatched in the off-road market.
Like the RC8, the DC8 features not only the well-known ARC Flex lever but also a thin nylon slip sleeve on the handlebar clamps. In the event of a crash, this allows the entire assembly to rotate around the handlebar, thereby preventing the lever or assembly from breaking.
