This solid carbide crankshaft is designed with moderate inertia for improved handling and performance, and a better balance ratio for reduced vibration.
You will notice the high quality, as the runout is within 0.01 mm and it can be rebuilt many times without losing strength or stiffness.
Additionally, this crankshaft is assembled with a special lightweight connecting rod kit (CRK1402) and must be used with the solid connecting rod pin to ensure the best balance ratio for minimal engine vibration.
The connecting rod weighs 20 grams less than the OEM connecting rod and improves throttle response.
When the engine is decelerating, the standard connecting rod deforms 0.0150.02 mm into an oval shape, while our solid-metal connecting rod deforms only 0.005 mm (due to the high-strength material). Furthermore, this connecting rod is very well machined, ensuring a smooth surface. This prevents small cracks in the material.
